River Health Days improve habitat and build community around the San Lorenzo River.
One way in which we’re improving habitat is by removing invasive species along the lower San Lorenzo River through our series River Health Days.
Each fall, Coastal Watershed Council staff and volunteers are joined by local native plant experts and botanists to learn how to identify and remove invasive species like cape ivy from the banks of the San Lorenzo River. At these River Health Days, you take action for a healthy, thriving ecosystem. Sign up using the form below.
We’re also engaging local businesses to Adopt a Parklet and sponsor the planting of native species along the lower San Lorenzo River. If your business might be interested in getting involved, learn more here.
