The Coastal Watershed Council (CWC) is partnering with the Santa Cruz Warriors to raise money for stewardship, monitoring and education programs along the San Lorenzo River. CWC will be coordinating the ball toss at each Santa Cruz Warriors home game this season and all proceeds will support CWC programs.
CWC is seeking volunteers to help with preparation and coordination of the ball toss and outreach during home games at Kaiser Permanente Arena. You can volunteer on game days at the following times:
- 4:00 to 6:30 PM: Bag and sell basketballs for ball toss to benefit CWC. These volunteers can watch the game afterwards.
- 6:30 to 9:00 PM: Sell basketballs during the game and assist with the ball toss in the third quarter.
This is a perfect opportunity for San Lorenzo River enthusiasts and Santa Cruz Warriors fans ages 12 and up!
