Riverwalk Engagement Plan

As part of the Coastal Watershed Council’s ongoing commitment to reconnecting a healthy San Lorenzo River watershed to a vibrant community and in response to a request from the City of Santa Cruz, the Coastal Watershed Council (CWC) has prepared this Riverwalk Engagement Plan outline. We’ll be partnering with the City to enact this short term plan in the coming weeks with a long term plan to follow. We’re measuring success of our ongoing work to re-engage the community with the Riverwalk through the Riverwalk Usage Study.

OBJECTIVE: Dramatically increase short term and ongoing utilization and enjoyment of the Santa Cruz Riverwalk by Santa Cruz residents, visitors and workers.
