CWC partner Save Our Shores is hosting a speaker series with the Seymour Discover Center about the impacts of single-use cigarette filters on environmental and public health. The distinguished panel of speakers includes Public Health Director Emily Chung, who is also the Vice Chair of the CWC Board of Directors!

Community members are invited to chat with a panel of local district supervisors, scientists, and nonprofit representatives, and learn about efforts to ban the sale of single-use cigarette filters in Santa Cruz County.  Light breakfast offerings will be available.
