River Health Day
Volunteer and make a difference in the San Lorenzo River ecosystem!
Join the Coastal Watershed Council on Saturday November 21st for a morning filled with community, stewardship, and live music by Patti Maxine along the San Lorenzo River! We plan to remove non-native and highly invasive plant species along the levee to promote a healthy, biodiverse, riparian ecosystem for our flora and fauna community members!
Please sign up using the form below. This event will be capped at 15 participants.
For this event, we will meet on the Riverwalk near Mike Fox Skate Park. Participants who sign up will receive specific meeting information via email. Participants are welcome to park at our office on 107 Dakota Ave and walk about 10 minutes to the site if parking is full at Mike Fox Skate Park.
We recommend that all volunteers dress in comfortable gardening clothes, including long pants, socks and sturdy closed-toe shoes. Bring layers, sun protection and a reusable water bottle. Gloves, tools and light refreshments will be provided.
All ages and abilities welcome. Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
