“Honoring Indigenous Voices” aims to bring our community together for a day of thought-provoking dialogue and shared learning. By delving into historical narratives of Indigenous history, we intend to forge a path towards addressing contemporary challenges to our humanity and the environment.

SESSION 1: 10:30AM-12PM
SPEAKERS: Alexii Sigona and Carolyn Rodriguez, Members of the Amah Mutsun Tribal Band share their multifaceted perspectives on the cultural landscapes and history of Indigenous knowledge.
Lunch will be provided.
Restoring Indigenous History
SESSION 2: 1-2:30 PM
PANELISTS: Drs. Judith Scott, Renya Ramirez and Daisy Martin of the UCSC Critical Missions Project dialogue with the community about current education practices, how listening can heal and how collaboration builds a healthier future.
