Exploring the San Lorenzo River Tour Series Kickoff: Becoming a naturalist.

February 3, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

About this tour…

During the first tour of the series, hone your most important naturalist skill: astute observation! Practice making observations and connecting to the river as a naturalist. Use the tools of exploration to find wildlife and discover things you’ve never noticed, and learn about river ecology. This tour will be led by Dan Lazarus the Recreation Program Specialist at Quail Hollow Ranch. This tour is great for kids!

We will be meeting in the parking lot at the at Highlands Park located at 8500 CA-9, Ben Lomond, CA 95005, near the skate park. This tour will include a short walk along the river, riverside activities, as well as some demonstrations in the park. Comfortable shoes, layers and sun protection are recommended. This will be an excellent tour for families and young explorers, and we look forward to sharing different ways of connecting to nature and being a naturalist.

Reserve your spot now.
