Exploring the San Lorenzo River Tour: Birds

Join us for the Exploring the San Lorenzo River tour on March 25th from 8:30 to 10:30.  This tour will be hosted by the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History and will be on the topic of birds in the river ecosystem! The tour is open to all ages and we especially welcome youth eager to get to know their river!

This tour will start in downtown Santa Cruz at the southwest side of the Soquel Avenue Bridge over the San Lorenzo River, south of the CVS/Trader Joe’s parking lot. A guide will meet participants along the Riverwalk. To learn more contact Museum of Natural History Education Manager Felicia Van Stolk at felicia@santacruzmuseum.org. The Exploring the San Lorenzo River Series offers weekly interactive tours on the topic of fish and birds of the watershed co-hosted by the Coastal Watershed Council and Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History. Learn about and explore the ecosystem of the San Lorenzo River with experts! Tours are open to all ages and will be hosted every Saturday! The Exploring the San Lorenzo River Series in funded by the Santa Cruz Fish and Wildlife Advisory Commission and Clif Bar.
