Exploring the San Lorenzo River Series Tour: Sandhills and the San Lorenzo
March 17, 2018 @ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm
About this tour…
The Sandhills in the Santa Cruz Mountains are perfect sponges that store water for local communities. They are also critical for maintaining stream flows in our creeks, and they are home to many rare and endangered species. On this walk we will learn about this special ecosystem and see how important sandhills are for future generations. This tour will be lead by Jen Michelsen of the San Lorenzo Valley Water District.
