Coastal Cleanup Day at the San Lorenzo River

Show how much you love the San Lorenzo River and the Monterey Bay! Save Our Shores is organizing dozens of cleanups along the Central Coast for Annual Coastal Cleanup Day, happening Saturday, September 20. By participating, you will make a positive impact on our beautiful Monterey Bay and prevent trash from entering the ocean.
All cleanups take place from 9am-Noon, and it is suggested you show up fifteen minutes prior to check in and receive cleanup instructions. There will be six cleanup sites along the San Lorenzo River for Coastal Cleanup Day 2025! CWC board member Linda Cover will lead the cleanup at the Tannery Arts Center. Cleanups are also happening at Josephine Street and Soquel Ave in Downtown Santa Cruz, as well as in Felton, Ben Lomond, and Boulder Creek. Sign up online and come show your love for the San Lorenzo!
