Citizen Science: Mapping the Health of our Rivers

March 2, 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

FREE

PARTNERS IN CITIZEN SCIENCE … Santa Cruz Public Libraries and partners invite you to join us every first Thursday for a lecture and Q&A with local experts and researchers in the field discussing life science, ecology, geology, genetics, climatology and more. Let’s connect, inspire and inform each other!

This March, River Scientist Alev Bilginsoy will describe how the Coastal Watershed Council is trying to keep our rivers healthy. Learn how you can be a citizen scientist and help in the next Watershed Snapshot Day in May, the oldest and largest single-day annual water quality monitoring event in California.
