It’s time for another afternoon of beautifying our river and building community connections! We had so much fun during with the inaugural Bridging the Gap event last spring that we decided to host a sister event this fall!

Help “bridge the gap” and build a connection to your river, to downtown Santa Cruz and to your community. Meet at Yoso Wellness Spa in the Galleria at 3:00 p.m. for the start of the event, where you’ll receive materials and instructions on how to help clean and beautify the San Lorenzo River and Santa Cruz Riverwalk. Participants will get to choose between picking up litter or planting new native plants along the river. At the end of the event, we’ll celebrate the litter we’ve cleaned up and the habitat improvements we’ve made during happy hour at Hotel Paradox.
