Are you interested in spearheading change for the San Lorenzo River?Are you ready to practice your leadership? Do you like working with others to benefit the environment and the community? If you (or someone you know) wants to spend their summer honing their leadership skills and improving the San Lorenzo River, then this is the opportunity for you. This paid, part-time position is open for applications from now until the application deadline on Sunday, April 1.

The Coastal Watershed Council’s (CWC’s) Environmental Leaders Fellowship gives an emerging environmental leader the opportunity to research, design and implement a project to reconnect people who live, work and play along the lower San Lorenzo River to this critical natural resource. The Environmental Leaders Fellow cultivates relationships with people and partners, works to research best practices and improve programs that will inspire community partners to act to benefit the San Lorenzo River and the Santa Cruz Riverwalk, the urban park that lines its banks.
