As we gear up for the school year, CWC is empowering youth not only to face the challenges of tomorrow, but also to take action TODAY.
We’re incorporating leadership development into our environmental education program Watershed Rangers. Kids not only learn how to use scientific equipment and what impacts local watersheds, but also learn how to take action to benefit the health of their local river, creek or stream.
The Watershed Rangers program culminates with student-led projects to take action for local watersheds, to bring zero waste lunches, to reduce water or to organize a visit to the river for a cleanup, to remove invasive species or to monitor water quality.
